Shorter To-Do List
I’ve had the past 5 days off with absolutely no classes to attend. Here’s a recap:
Thursday: Ended up taking a road trip to Jersey from 9:45 PM- 2 AM, all to pick up a suit. Stopped at this great look-out for a view of the city and then went to a diner.
Friday: Finished reading a novel. Started to revise some pieces.
Saturday: Went to the TV vs. Radio majors softball game. Went to the Student Art Show to see my work. Chipotle. Student Film Festival, and then Friendly’s for ice cream at midnight.
Sunday: Seriously started my homework- revised pieces, wrote my art paper.
Now, I’m just sitting here at work, attempting to finish the last bit of schoolwork I have to do, and everything and anything is distracting me.
- Rewrite 2nd American Fiction paper
- Read notes for American Fiction final
- Rewrite 2nd draft of Editorial Series final
- Revise Creative Writing pieces
- Write Aesthetic statement for portfolio
- Put all artworks onto a CD
- Write Scholarship Application essay
- Study for French final
Once this is all out of the way, I need to pack up everything in my dorm room (which is a ton of junk, by the way…I don’t know where it all comes from) and move home Friday morning. Also, I have to spend the remaining $250 on my meal card before Friday.
Here’s to the 4 more days before summer starts.
There are 7 days of classes left for me.
This means the following things:
- After those weeks of class, I only have finals left.
- I only have two actual final exams. Everything else is a project.
- The hardest of these will be French, which is near the end of my exam schedule week.
- I will have to pack up my dorm room soon so that I can move back to Philly for the summer.
- All the fun plans I’ve made for this summer will commence in (or around) 20 days.
It also means that I have the following things to finish and turn in:
- Book promotion final paper, along with all other assignments from the course (revised), w/ final presentation
- Revisions of all previous French essays
- Reading 140 pages of a novel
- Writing an architecture fiction piece
- Revising poems/prose from the semester and putting together a final Creative Writing portfolio
- A review paper of a live essay reading
- Biographical paper about a famous graphic designer
- Completion of a full 20-page book design, complete with artwork from the whole semester, as a final portfolio
- 4-part investigative reporting editorial series
And that’s just classes… I’ll probably have an interview for the Welcome Week position somewhere in there, along with the final Hall Council program, making my election speech for National Honor Society, and finding a way to use all the points on my meal plan.
Whew.
